R. C. "Fito" Flores
-  Attended Sam Houston Elementary, Edinburg Jr. High and graduated from Edinburg EHS, 1948
-  Lettered in high school sports from 8th-12th grades
-  Served in the United States Air Force - Stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio
-  Graduated from Pan American College and played baseball for the Broncs
-  Taught History and coached various sports from 1954-1969
-  Became an Assistant Principal at EHS, 1967
-  Named EHS  Principal, 1970
-  Director of Secondary Education & Administration Assistant to Superintendent (1975-1987)

Mark Anthony Zapata
-  Born in Edinburg, however, raised throughout U.S. with father's military service
-  1995 Edinburg North High School Graduate Band Member in middle school and high school
-  Volunteer/Substitute at Stephen F. Austin and St. Joseph School (shared his love for music)
-  Served in Iraq and seven years in the military with Fort Hood's 1st Calvary Division
-  Posthumously awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service
